MarinaChain Selected as Finalist for CMA CGM Startup Awards 2025

MarinaChain, an AI solutions company specializing in the maritime and logistics sector, has been selected as a finalist for the CMA CGM Startup Awards 2025, jointly organized by global shipping group CMA CGM and startup accelerator ZEBOX.

Among hundreds of innovative companies from around the world, it is a rare achievement for a Korean startup to be named a finalist. This selection represents official recognition of MarinaChain’s technological competitiveness in the global maritime and logistics market.

Being chosen as a finalist is particularly significant as it demonstrates that MarinaChain’s technology has moved beyond proof-of-concept (PoC) and is recognized by global shipowners as a solution with practical value and operational reliability.

The CMA CGM Startup Awards is a global startup competition designed to identify innovative technologies across the maritime, logistics, energy, and media sectors. In November, MarinaChain successfully delivered its finalist pitch at the main stage in Marseille, France, in front of senior executives and key decision-makers from the CMA CGM Group.

During the presentation, MarinaChain showcased its AI-driven maritime data automation architecture, strategies for international regulatory compliance, and vessel operational efficiency models designed for the carbon-regulated era, drawing strong interest from the audience.

Dan Ha, CEO of MarinaChain, commented, “Becoming the first Korean finalist of the CMA CGM Startup Awards is a meaningful recognition that MarinaChain’s AI technology delivers real-world value to the global maritime and logistics industry. As carbon regulations and digital transformation accelerate, data-driven compliance capabilities are no longer optional. MarinaChain will continue to drive innovation at the center of this transformation.”
