MarinaChain Selected for 4th Cohort of 'KB Unicorn Club' by GCCEI and KB Kookmin Bank

Selected as a Top-Tier Tech Startup Amid 37.2 to 1 Competition to Receive Accelerator Support and Investment Matching

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Gyeonggi CCEI), in partnership with KB Kookmin Bank, has selected 16 startups for the 4th cohort of the KB Unicorn Club and hosted an official launch ceremony.

Now in its fourth year, the program drew intense interest, with 11 startups selected through an open track (KB Founders Club) that saw a fierce competition rate of 37.2 to 1. The evaluation process was held to investment-grade standards, featuring key external venture capital firms—including KB Investment, Blissvine Ventures, and Danal Investment Partners alongside Gyeonggi CCEI—to strengthen investment matching.

An additional five high-growth startups with strong potential for global expansion and exit were selected through a invitation-based track (KB Global Star Club).

The 16 selected companies feature promising tech startups including MarinaChain, a provider of AI-powered maritime and logistics data solutions, alongside DYNG, RootSensor, StyleMate, and Studio Galilei.

As a selected finalist, MarinaChain will receive comprehensive acceleration support, including direct investment review by Gyeonggi CCEI, recommendation for South Korea's TIPS program, connections to external investors, expert mentoring, free office space in Pangyo, and tailored PR support.
