MarinaChain won the Grand Prize, receiving the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Award, by taking first place at the 'Smart Maritime Logistics UniContest' held at Grand Josun Busan on December 2.

The Smart Maritime Logistics UniContest was conducted as one of the primary programs during the '2024 Practical Maritime Logistics Job Support Project Performance Report Session,' co-hosted by the Ulsan Port Authority and the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST).

Organized to vitalize the maritime logistics startup ecosystem and discover promising enterprises, the competition selected winning companies by evaluating the feasibility and growth potential of their business items.

MarinaChain claimed first place and received the competition's highest honor, the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Award, in recognition of its technology capable of efficiently managing vessel carbon emissions and responding to international regulations through its AI-driven maritime logistics ESG solution.

MarinaChain is providing practical solutions to shipping lines for the maritime EU ETS regulations that took effect this year, as well as the upcoming FuelEU Maritime mandates. Furthermore, leveraging various AI technologies, the company provides tailored solutions to shipping companies, maritime equipment manufacturers, and heavy industries.
