The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (GCCEI) and INNOX hosted the achievement showcase for the ‘2024 INNOX Open Innovation 3rd Cohort’ at the INNOX headquarters in the Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley on November 2.

The ‘2024 INNOX Open Innovation 3rd Cohort’ is a strategic open innovation program jointly launched by INNOX and GCCEI. Selected startups receive a collective pre-investment of 2 billion KRW alongside GCCEI’s value-up acceleration programs, which include in-depth networking, support for CES Innovation Award submissions and exhibition booths, and global standard certification assistance.

Beginning with an application window that attracted 256 companies over two months, six startups—Maze, Solitech, FirstLab, Mobawheel, MarinaChain, and Aetech—were selected following a rigorous four-month evaluation. Emerging from a fierce 43:1 competition ratio, these finalists represent key high-growth industries, including secondary batteries, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced IT.

At the showcase, the six startups introduced their core business models, presented post-investment growth roadmaps, and shared their milestones following the investment.

Along with highlighting the results of GCCEI's value-up program, INNOX announced plans to operate a dedicated startup incubation center within its headquarters. The event also featured a building tour, demonstrating INNOX's commitment to housing promising startups and invigorating the regional venture investment ecosystem.
