MarinaChain Selected for Singapore's 'Shell StartUp Engine'

Selected Among Top 8 Out of Over 1,000 Applicants: Proving AI-Driven Maritime Decarbonization Tech and Global Scalability

Carbon credit AI platform operator MarinaChain announced on the 25th that it has been selected as a final startup in the Shell StartUp Engine Selection held in Singapore.

The program focuses on digital decarbonization and low-carbon fuel innovation, aligning with Shell Singapore's "Powering Progress" strategy.

MarinaChain COO Jon J presented the company's maritime decarbonization platform at the event, where MarinaChain was selected as one of the final 8 startups out of more than 1,000 applicants.

MarinaChain's core business provides AI-powered vessel performance monitoring and environmental regulatory compliance solutions. Utilizing its ParseAI technology, the platform automatically analyzes voyage reports and visualizes data on a dashboard, helping ship operators efficiently comply with regulations such as EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime. This enables maritime companies to maximize operational efficiency and manage ESG requirements effectively.

Starting with mentor matching, the program will offer business development and investment readiness workshops. MarinaChain's solution aims to simplify carbon emission reporting and analytics in the maritime industry to contribute to a sustainable future.

"Through this program, MarinaChain will solidify its position as Asia's leading carbon credit AI platform and play a crucial role in driving the global energy transition," a MarinaChain representative stated. "We look forward to connecting with global investors during the upcoming Demo Day."
