MarinaChain signed an MOU with Turkish maritime tech firm Shipsider on October 31 at the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) to streamline carbon compliance and operations.

MarinaChain operates an AI platform—comprising MarinaNet, MarinaDocs, and MarinaCP—that automates data verification, manual updates, and chartering to ease compliance with IMO DCS, CII, EU ETS, and FuelEU Maritime rules.

Founded in 2024 at Bilişim Vadisi, Shipsider offers AI SaaS solutions for commercial operations, chartering, and emissions tracking across the Middle East and Europe.

The alliance focuses on AI data integration, real-time emissions management, automated EU regulation reporting, and standardized operation workflows.

"Combining our technology with Shipsider lays the groundwork for an Asia-Europe maritime data hub," said MarinaChain CEO Ha Seong-yeop.
