AI Engineer (Vision)

Proving our technical capability through multiple awards As an AI Engineer (Vision), you'll help build products that understand and automate ship and engineering drawings, centered on Computer Vision. We're looking for talented people to grow with us in a challenging, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• •Preprocessing, alignment, and change-region detection for PDF and PNG drawings
• •Comparing lines, arcs, blocks, layers, text, and dimensions across vector PDF, DWG, and DXF files
• •Extracting drawing numbers, revisions, tags, and dimensions using OCR and Document AI
• •Structuring drawings (including symbol recognition and connection relationships) and developing graph-diff logic
• •Building ground-truth data and synthetic revision pairs, and evaluating accuracy, false positives, and misses

Qualifications

• •3+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision or applied ML, or equivalent project outcomes
• •Proficiency with Python, OpenCV, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch
• •Hands-on experience solving image registration, detection, or segmentation problems
• •Understanding of 2D geometry: coordinate transforms, polygons/polylines, intersections
• •Experience designing training/evaluation datasets and quantitatively analyzing model errors

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience parsing DWG/DXF/STEP/IFC or vector PDF files
• •Experience with CAD APIs/SDKs such as AutoCAD .NET, ObjectARX, AutoLISP, Autodesk APS, ODA, ezdxf, or Open CASCADE
• •Experience with drawing/document OCR, layout analysis, title block or table extraction
• •Experience with symbol detection, graph matching, P&ID, or architectural/mechanical drawing processing
• •Experience operating Docker/AWS-based ML services or deploying on-premise
